What is an audio guestbook and how does it work

An audio guestbook is a guestbook where guests talk instead of writing. It looks like an old phone with a handset and sits in a corner of the venue. It does not call anyone. It records what people say.

How it works for guests

The guest picks up the handset and hears a greeting message. After the beep they say whatever they like: a wish, a piece of advice, a memory, a joke. When they hang up, the message is saved automatically to the SD card in the phone. The next guest can start right away.

We leave short, clear printed instructions next to the phone, so nobody has to explain it every time.

The greeting message

The first thing a guest hears can be your voice. Record yourself on your phone and send us the .mp3 file at least 3 days before the event. A WhatsApp voice message is enough.

A good message is short: say hello, and ask guests to say their name and leave a few words after the beep.

What you get after the event

All the messages, on a USB stick. You get it right after the rental ends or, if you prefer, within 1-5 working days. There is no limit on the number of messages.

Who looks after the phone

We do. We deliver the phone, set it up, give technical support during the event and pick it up at the end. All we need from the organisers is a dedicated spot for the phone that guests can find easily.

How much it costs

Rental is by the hour: 175 € for 2 hours, 250 € for 4 hours, 400 € for 6 hours. An extra hour costs 75 €. Delivery is free within Chisinau; outside the city it costs 150-200 MDL. The booking is confirmed with a contract and a 300 € deposit.
